Medical University Pleven

Medicine (MD): A 6-year program with pre-clinical, clinical, and internship training. Instruction is offered in English and Bulgarian. English-medium students also study Bulgarian to work with patients during clinical years. Graduates receive a Master’s degree and qualification to practice as a physician recognized in the EU and many other countries. Tuition fee is 9000€ for first years.

The Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the main academic units at MU-Pleven and offers a Master’s degree in Pharmacy.Education combines theoretical study with practical lab training in pharmaceutical sciences, including chemistry, pharmacology and pharmacy practice. Duration is for 5 years. Tuition fee is 9000€ for international students.

Nursing is offered through the Faculty of Health Care as a full-time Bachelor’s degree program in English. The course is typically 4 years long (8 semesters) and includes both theoretical education and clinical practice. Tuition for the English-taught Nursing program is €4,700 per year.
